Ethan Shuley

A BYU graduate where he was teammates with American marathon record holder Conner Mantz, Canadian half marathon record holder Rory Linkletter and others, Shuley spent most of his time in college injured and didn’t really click as a runner until relocating to Japan in 2023. In 2025 he improved rapidly, then exploded onto the scene in 2026 with half marathon and marathon PBs. He now lives in Utah, where he is coached by Isaac Wood.
