Naoto Hasegawa

A Niigata native, Hasegawa is one of the top-ranked high jumpers in the world. He represented Japan at the 2023 World Athletics Championships and at the 2025 and 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships. A career highlight came in the summer of 2025 with back-to-back wins at the silver label Banska Bystrica meet in Slovakia and the gold label Gyulai Istvan Memorial meet in Hungary, followed by his Diamond League debut at the Kamila Skolimonwska Memorial in Poland.
