Takeuchi graduated from Tokyo Nogyo University and runs for the ND Soft corporate ekiden team in Yamagata, Japan. The winner of the 2025 Warsaw Marathon, he has run PBs at the Gold Coast Marathon the last 2 years. Coached by Kiyohiro Watanabe.
