Sam Clifford

A Tasmania native, the Sydney-based Clifford broke through in 2025 with PBs for 5000 m, road 10 km and half marathon, his 10 km time of 27:34 in Tokyo a new Australian national record. Coached by Sean Williams, Clifford is expected to be a major contender in the marathon for the home team at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.
