Yuki Yamamoto
Bio
The women’s javelin throw is one of Japan’s most competitive events, and Yamamoto is one of its rising stars. After taking 4th at the 2024 National Championships with a 59.57 m PB while still a student at Kyushu Kyoritsu University in Fukuoka, she had a breakthrough in 2026 with a 61.45 m PB to win the Oda Memorial Meet in Hiroshima. Coached by Akihisa Hikita.
